Healthcare Administration Program



Healthcare Administration TrainingThe program is aimed for professionals, clinicians, graduates of all trades employment and managers of all types of health and social organizations, including development agencies, local area networks, health services, social services, community agencies and professionals in private practice.




The program allows the student to become familiar with the main concepts and management tools to facilitate the understanding of the dynamics and constraints of managing health and social organizations, as derived from the characteristics of the environment and individuals at these organizations.




A student who meets the program requirements will receive a certificate of short program in second cycle management of health services and social services.


If the student obtains a GPA greater than or equal to 3.2 / 4.3, courses completed in the short program could be recognized if he is admitted to health administration degree or master’s degree.


Each course in this program is recognized for members of the Bar as a training of 30 hours under the Regulations on mandatory continuing education of lawyers.


Admission Requirements


The candidate

– Must hold a baccalaureate degree or equivalent, without recognizing particular discipline, obtained with a GPA of at least 3.2 out of 4.3 or equivalent;

– And must have a minimum of two years experience in an organization of health care system;

– Who does not hold a baccalaureate degree or equivalent may be admitted to this program if it has the appropriate knowledge and significant working experience. The selection committee will assess the knowledge and experience;

– May be required to succeed in advance some refresher courses.


Specific requirement for admission


The candidate must, in addition to meeting the general admission requirements for short programs, have a minimum of two years experience working in the health care system.


Program Structure


Before enrolling in any course of the program, the student must register for specific required courses and only responsible for studies of place of study may grant an exception to this rule. The student must have a minimum of 2 years experience in an organization’s network of health and social services to enroll one of the required courses.
